About Amazing1
Amazing1 was founded by Mike Whitmore, who worked under Bob Iannini at Information Unlimited for eight years before Bob’s passing and the closure of the company. Mike’s father also worked alongside Bob, and Mike himself knew him from the age of nine. With the blessing of Bob’s wife, Ann Iannini, Mike launched Amazing1 in 2024 to carry forward the legacy of plasma and neon innovation. His mission is to rebuild and expand on that foundation, offering tools and devices that empower artists, makers, and experimenters. Its high-frequency output powers most neon tubes up to 10 feet, making it ideal for both studio installations and wearable neon designs.
Power your displays with our 10kV Neon 21 Plasma Transformer, the upgraded version of the original Neon21 design, packaged in a simple ABS enclosure with cooling fan. Designed to be more accessible with Plug-n-play enclosure for those who are new and seasoned Plasma artists and enthusiasts.

With variable output (1–20kV), adjustable frequency (20–60kHz), and reactance-limited current (25mA), it delivers reliable performance with built-in short-circuit protection and over-voltage shutdown.
