At Taming Lightning, I believe in transparency and clarity when it comes to our offerings. Hence, I want to inform you about the freight fees associated with purchasing Global Rare Gases. 

Global Rare Gases used FedEx as their primary service for shipping, and in our most recent sale found that there were changes we would have to address according to FedEx freight.

 Essentially, each gas has its own registered UN number, a four-digit number that identifies hazardous materials, and articles in the framework of international trade and transport. In this case, compressed gases are the hazard and not particularly the gases themselves. While the noble gases don’t act differently in a compressed environment, they are treated differently in this procedure so that different gases cannot be boxed together. This changes how the fee is applied, and Global Rare Gases has advised the following to maintain reasonable and fair rates.

Here’s how it breaks down:

Single Gas Orders: If you’re ordering a single gas, rest assured that there will be a flat freight fee through FedEx, regardless of the quantity of the product you purchase. Simple and straightforward!

Multiple Gas Orders: For orders comprising 1-3 different gases, the FedEx freight fee will be calculated per gas. This ensures fairness in pricing and accurate shipping costs for your diverse selection of gases.

3rd Party Logistics: Now, if you’re planning an extensive exploration and your order includes 4 or more different gases, fear not. Global Rare Gases will step in and calculate the best shipping price for your varied selection. You’ll receive an invoice via email, ensuring you get the most competitive rates for your bulk orders.
