Another perspective on this was suggested by Tim Drier, a scientific glassblower and artist who suggests the use of a product called Citranox. His reasoning was to move away from solvents in his process.
The step will be very similar:
- Wash with soap and water
- Rinse with Distilled water
- Ultrasonic with Citrinox
- rinse with distilled water
- Rinse with Deionized water
- Dry the glass in the kiln
