Hello Lightning Tamers!
I Checked out Swagelok to exchange the parts I ordered, turns out I made a simple mistake when measuring the connections, and found that in Plumbing 1/2″ is actually 1/4″ when it comes to threading. The people at Swagelok Pittsburgh were nice and helped me get the right parts. While I was there I asked about technical training for tube fitting and tube bending, which I hope to take in the future. |

For now, I work on hand bending the tubing with makeshift jigs as I did in the Facebook Live Video embedded in this post. After a long day, I was bit distressed by my situation. Lucky for me Aaron Ristau and Kevin Twing were watching and gave me some good advice!
The next steps are to bend the tubing to fit my setup, attach the fitting, and then make sure there are no leaks.
