Hello Lightning Tamers,
I’ve been working on populating my new online store of Taming Lightning and started to add downloadable 3D models, and eventually 3D printing on-demand services.
One of the things that I’ve designed to help improve the workshop and artist experience is a case or enclosure for the Neon21 transformer. It’s a simple and available plasma transformer that can work well for beginners but its bare design makes it a bit intimidating for the beginner, and for those just getting into making glass for plasma, where designing their own bases or enclosures is often in the back of their mind or either not accessible during workshop environment s focusing on the glass making and plasma filling processes.
Introducing the PlasmaShell: the perfect solution for protecting your Neon21 plasma transformer during workshops, testing and display. This downloadable 3D model is designed to ensure the safety of both the device and its users. With its snap-to-fit assembly, you can easily assemble the PlasmaShell and start using it right away. The enclosure is equipped with ventilation for optimal airflow, preventing overheating. Its sleek and simple design adds an appealing touch to your setup. Additionally, the downloadable file includes a blank template for customizing the endcaps according to your preferences. Please note that the Neon21 plasma transformer is not included; this is a downloadable STL file compatible with your preferred 3D printer. Take your plasma illumination experience to the next level with the PlasmaShell!
I’ve made some updates to my Patreon page, and as a valued subscriber at the $5 Co-Learner tier, you’ll now enjoy unlimited access to these models. If you’re not yet a Patreon member, you can take advantage of our 7-day trial to explore all the benefits on offer! This means you can download the models for free and TIPS (Together in Progress) Guides during the first 7 days and see how they enhance your experience.
Thank you for your support!⚡
